Hoarding Tendencies and God.

Standard

This morning started out before God turned on any lights as Tuck calls it. I have no idea how parents get their kids to sleep late but one day he is going to sleep till noon and I swear on my eyeballs I will not be mad about it.

Tuck woke up with more energy than my columbian dark roast could comprehend so off we went for a morning get your wiggles out run. Tuck is signed up for 3 5K’s for the remainder of this year and whether he realizes it or not, he pushes me even during our sunrise training runs. 2.94 miles in 30 minutes this morning. The kid is a beast.

The day continued with a play date with Tucks best and what was going to be an afternoon of thrifting. Letting loose the reigns on all my hoarding tendencies cause if you have junk, I will buy it.

Fortunately the entire state of Oklahoma finally got rain and my best nearly fell over when she called me at 2:30 and I tried to explain to her that Tuck and I can not function in anything other than bright sunshine and we were in Mama bed sound asleep.

She totally judged me. As she should.

Our bodies full of rest and cheezits I foresee an evening of soccer and maybe a hike.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Xoxo

  1. Dude, Joel slept until 9:00 the other morning. It was so unusual that I couldn’t relax and checked his breathing two or three times. I guess he just needed the sleep, because he was fine the rest of the day. But, there I was getting exactly what I had always wanted, a few extra minutes in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee and I was paranoid the whole time.
