Swimming Around Warm Spots.

Standard

Yesterday was another day for Tuck to choose what he wanted to do for his birthday week celebrations. I MAY or MAY NOT have put THIS little idea into his head.

Judge me. Go ahead.

If you live anywhere around Oklahoma you have to take yourself and your little one to

Andy Alligators Water Park.

I was a bit nervous since it is summer, I figured it would be swarming with obnoxious screaming kids that have nothing better to do.

Ya know. Like Tuck. And I was right. And we joined them.

Pros and Cons:

It’s a bit pricey but with a coupon not to shabby. AND you get a bracelet with a bar code you can apply cash too, use at the gift shop, or greasy food area, and ADULT BEVERAGE BAR.

It basically allows you to leave your water play just in case junk in the truck and set yourself free to be a kid again without having to watch over a bag or save yourself the winning lounge chair right by the water’s edge with the rest of the sun blistered Mama’s.

Tuck was a little unsure of all the attractions and I have to admit it was a tad overwhelming at first. He took two go’s at climbing up and then climbing back down. Before he attempted one of the tiny slides. Once he got over it he was hooked. And joined in the ruckus of fun.

While some parents lounged, enjoyed a drink and down time I couldn’t help myself and tried out each slide a few times. It was epic.

And Tuck thought I was pretty rad for giving it a go.

5 hours later Tuck called this day before turning Five on Fivesday a win.

140 degree’s, blistered feet and sore rears this piece of miniature paradise is a go for an Oklahoma summer.

Happy Foursday everyone!

Xoxo

  1. Happy birthday Super Tuck!! I hope that being 5 is the best yet!

The park looks AMAZING!! I hear you about the heat. We’re in Texas, we suffer the 140 degree heat as well…fine. it’s more like 103, but I figure after you reach the triple digit mark, we stop counting and start being miserable.
