The medals finally came in from Tucks last 5K. He got first place. In his division.
Granted he was the only 4 year old in his division. And he earned this after having to chat with every single volunteer at the water stations cause he is destined to be a politician or a preacher. And grinning ear to ear when the high school cheer leaders trotted along with him for a bit.
None the less he took 1st.
Tuck- I got dis! Wow Mama! I like running da race. It’s like a parade but wiff water and girls.
That awkward moment when Tuck called my bluff on all babies come from Lowe’s.
He was checking out some of my maternity photos. And caught a glimpse of his pea nutty like state on an ultrasound.
Tuck- Why I’s in your belly Mama?
Me- … Well brother. That’s where you grew until you were ready to come out.
Tuck- At da checkout line?
Me- That’s exactly right.
I put a halt to the insane morning commute today saving a wayward turtles life.
I don’t know how high y’all can jump but I quickly learned the hard way that even the smallest of snapping turtles have got some Jordan like skills.
Tuck- Mama why you dancing in da road? Can I do dat too?
Me- …
Happy Threesday Eve everyone!
Xoxo
